10 St James Avenue
Corporate Architecture experience with the challenges of large scale development in Boston, MA
550,000 square feet commercial office tower, 19-stories high, connected to the adjacent 10-story landmark Paine Furniture building by a 5 story high 32 feet wide block-through atrium and public space. The public space included street level dining areas on an elaborate mosaic terrazzo map of the City of Boston. This development was the first tower built in Boston following a ten-year construction moratorium on office space construction.
The project also included a four-level underground public parking facility accommodating 400 vehicles.
